As part of UA
's "right sizing" fleet plans they are moving the international aircraft off the domestic runs and utilizing them more on the international runs. They are opening more international routes...SFO NGO
and ORD MUC
. They are also increasing the frequency on LAX NRT
and ORD HKG
. They are also upgrading the ORD PEK
run to a 747 for the summer. All this is being done with no additional aircraft from the desert. Just higher aircraft utilization and moving these off the domestic routes. United is doing well nomatter what some people in here think. Revenue performance is up and if it weren't for oil ua would be in much better shape.
