Why No KLM, EL AL, JAL, Delta On Amadeus.net?

Sun Mar 27, 2005 9:56 pm

For some reason Amadeus.net does not show fllights on KLM, EL AL, JAL, Delta. I am sure there are others. Does anyone know why?
They use to have the schedule for all commercial airlines.

That is quite strange, given that each carrier you mention is a system-participant...we use the Amadeus system in my travel office, so I know this for certain. What city-pairs were you looking at? The only logical reason a carrier should NOT appear would be a NON-participant, such as Southwest & JetBlue here in the U.S. or Ryanair & EasyJet (meaning, all LCC's!)

Have you tried putting in each of those airline's codes into the 'state airline' box? That might work.

I meant into the 'Preferred Airline' box.

Until recently every Germanwings flight was on Amadeus, but can't find them now either, and I'm certain I've checked HLX flights there already too. Maybe they are just changing a few things and everything will be back to normal soon.

AA is missing also.
I dumped at the gybe mark in strong winds when I looked up at a Porter Q400 on finals. Can't stop spotting.

Wow, I just went on Amadeus.net, and am amazed...when you click on the little button next to the pref. carrier box, there are indeed several airlines missing....I have no idea why. I was thinking that perhaps they were only showing airlines that use Amadeus themselves (i.e. AF, LH), but that can't be, because I saw Air Tahiti Nui (TN) listed, and I know for a fact that they are hosted on Sabre.

Really bizzare. I am going to email my contact at Amadeus and ask her if she knows & I'll post back here as soon as I can with an answer.

Cheers!

I believe KLM recently changed to their summerschedule. Perhaps Amadeus still needs to catch up?

The only issue here I think is the airlines being listed in the drop down boxes. I have no problem at all pulling up carriers like Delta and American.

It looks like it has been taken over by CONTINENTAL.
If you check for flights NYC - LAX it shows you only CO options.
If you check NYC - NRT it shows you CO options, same with ORD - NRT.
On the NYC - NRT it gives the EWR - NRT flight and the codeshare on NW (but as CO)
It looks as if CO is the default. Only when I put in JFK - LAX it gave me other options.

Amadeus is crap these days.
I was searching a flight from ORD to HNL, and instead of the direct AA73 flight, it did send me thru ATL, LAX and then HNL.

Also, the day before AMS to ORD, the system gave me a route FRA, LHR to ORD.

I am also not allowed to use prefered Airliners, it seems that they are working on their database or something.

Its also a shame they cancled the schedule pages  Sad... ah well, back to the airliner schedules Big grin

But when it works, its a great help Big grin
have a good day,

Annoying
