Pax Dies On AR Flight 1134 EZE-MAD

Mon Mar 28, 2005 6:56 am

A 54 year old Spanish passenger died yesterday, March 26, on AR's 1134 EZE-MAD flight due to a hard attack. Doctors on the plane attempted to reanimate the man but where unable to resuscitate him.

The pilot made a medical emergency landing in REC, but unfortunately the victim was already life-less by the time the Pilot landed.

The couple was returning from a vacation in Argentina.

The body remained in REC overnight and is to be flown to MAD today, 27 March.

Sad story.

Yes I knew it. Read it this morning on the Spanish newspaper "ABC".

I feel sorry for the poor man.

The aircraft was cleared for departure to MAD about 2 hours after landing in Recife.

Poor guy and what kind of experience for his wife. RIP.

I wonder about the rest of the passengers. It can't be easy to keep flying when you've witnessed such a traumatic experience. Are the FA trained to help passengers after such kind of event?
