Gosh, Philly doesn't look like that great of a city. My cousin said pretty much the same thing -- dirty, not much to do, no women
. Thanks for the responses!
AC183: I'm graduating with a degree in Economics. I'm not looking in Philadelphia, per se. Actually, I'm looking more in New York City because I family there and I love the city. But New York companies are so anal about who they hire and it looks like they mostly consider local people. I've sent a shitload of resumes there and only got a handful of responses, most of them amounted to nothing. I only got one interview there. So, I started looking elsewhere, and I applied to one in Philadelphia because it's pretty close to NYC. They called me right away! The job in Philly is much better than the one in New York in terms of salary, benefits, etc., which is light years better than anything I could ever get in Canada. So it's not that I'm itching to go to Philly so much, but to be as close as I can to my family in New York. But based on everyone's description of Philly, it's no wonder they're paying so much for an entry level position! What else do ya wanna know?
