Wed Mar 30, 2005 12:02 am

Me and my friends were at LGW last night at around 23.30 and we were waiting for VS 623 to take off, but when it did it was so dark we couldn't see what it was. 2 of us thought it was a 747 but our other 2 friends were certain that it was an A340 and we were having a big argument about it all the way home. lol I have posted the flight details below so if anyone has a way to find out what aircraft it was pleasssssse help!

Flight number VS 623
Departure date 28 Mar 2005
Route London (LGW) to Port Harcourt (PHC)
Scheduled departure time 28 Mar 23:45
Actual departure time 28 Mar 23:48
Scheduled arrival time 29 Mar 06:40
Actual arrival time 29 Mar 06:33

Thanks

Flight VS623 was scheduled to be a A340-300, so most likely it was a A340!

PHC is the only scheduled VS A340 route out of LGW. It uses a LHR based aircraft.
