Aircraft In The Movie Italian Job

Mon Apr 04, 2005 5:44 am

In the original Italian Job there are 2 aircraft that you see when Charlie drops off his girlfriend and we see the gold being dropped off at Torino. The girlfriend heads towards a Caravelle, that is an easy one to identify. However does anyone know what type the supposedly Chinese aircraft is? I have screenshots but no way of posting them, so if someone can volunteer some space for a couple of small pics that would be cool. Or if someone is familiar with this old movie and can tell me off the top of their head I'd appreciate it.
Thanks.

It's a Globemaster I.

Great flick, just watched it again last week.  Smile

Sweet, thanks guys. I thought it looked like some sort of tricked out DC-6 or something, but the fuselage just looked too thick. Thanks for the web link too.  Smile
