Aloha 732 @ OAK

Wed Apr 06, 2005 6:35 am

While departing OAK at 6:45 am on Sunday, April 3, I saw a Aloha 732 next to a Aloha 73G in the remote stands. Why the 732? What was it doing there? Thanks.

Could be a ferry flight back to the lessors or retirement to the desert stopping off at OAK.

The other option is that it's there for heavy maintenance like a C-check or D-check. If it's N820AL, the paint on the forward fuselage was turning matte, and the "aloha" looked faded.

AQ is returning a 73G, nothing was mentioned of returning/retiring a 732.
