Thai At JFK

When this spring/summer is Thai starting BKK-JFK? Anyone know what terminal they will be in?

I heard Terminal 7, to be with Star partner United, but it was second or third hand, so I don't know for sure

If it is 7, they will be with UA. However, will this just be as a benefit to save on airline lounges and perhaps ground and check-in crew? UA won't have many routes to feed into TG, will they? What else do they do besides LAX, SFO, and a few int'ls at JFK?

They will be Terminal 4. IAT is already preparing. I agree, T7 would be the logical choice, but I think they are already at max capacity.

TG will start their BKK-JFK flights on May 1st. Their 1st A340-500 was delivered today I think.
You know the gear is up when it takes full power to taxi

Terminal 7 is pretty crowded now adways with Iberia there. I think Terminal 4 is a good choice, its a nice and new terminal for a nice and new plane. I can't wait to see the TG A345 at JFK once I get back to New York!

New York now recives three A340-500s one from SQ another from EK and another from TG.

Another reason for TG to use T4 is might be because they already handle the EK A345 and have all the equipment and experience?

Just for others incase they didn't know, the SQ A345 is EWR. Yes, a "New York" airport but wanted to be clear for those unaware.

T7 handles A340-600's, as you know, so equipment/experience probably wasn't a deciding factor.
