Air France's B747-100....

Mon Jan 25, 1999 6:15 pm

As an enthusiast I try to fly abord as many different airliners as possible.
In the past days I booked a trip to New York on AF and I was very lucky that I will fly back from JFK in one of their legendary B747-100s (if they don't change the type the day I go), a type which I haven't flown on so far.

Does anybody know exactly how long AF plans to use the four remaining B747-100s?
I guess they will be soon replaced by B777s and A340s.

I do not believe there are any plans to retire the 747-100s in the works. Your flight will definately be great.
