Boeing Plans To Sell $35-bn Planes To India

Wed Apr 13, 2005 6:53 am

Here is a link to the article:

The 35 billion is over 20 years but it sounds like the rumors of Air Indias order would be true. Not to mention a few major order in years to come!

I hope this is true and Boeing is able to keep up the good work!

Why sit at home and do nothing when you can travel the world.

well Air Sahara and Jet Airways are bound to place new widebody orders soon as they need to keep up with AIs planned mega expansion with the B 787s and B 777NGs.

I was thinking that wont it be a good idea if 9W and S2 decide on placing a joint order for the same aircraft i.e. B 777NGs or A 340NGs which would help them obtain extra (much valueable) discounts from the respective manufacturers...since they anyways have the same B 737NG fleet for domestic and Asian routes!!!
