VFAB first to have titling on livery in 1994, found to be too small and corrected on subsequent 744 deliveries

VFAB first a/c in "silver dream livery", but widely known to have turned out too dark and thus changed for other a/c. Also the purple stripe on fuselage coming down from tail was too thin and was corrected too (to take up four windows).

Now the right colour but not standard still. Bless, is she always to be different?

Maybe, she is seen as the "Flagship" of the company and therefore receives the honor and privelege of being the first aircraft to adorn the new colors?

Hi,

There is scope to modify the livery on G-VFAB to something more in line with the rest of the fleet. The flying lady decal and her cape is a sticker up to a point horizontal with the base of the tail. From here up is a painted image. This way the sticker part can be removed post birthday festivities if desired - leaving a more standard looking tail.

Regards,
