Saudi Arabian 777-268ERs & Bizjet 777s

Wed Apr 20, 2005 9:11 am

Does anybody know if Saudi 777s have two cabin layouts?
Every time I go to Europe, I keep seeing the regs that I have previously seen. I have reached a saturation point, while I have still several left to log. Do some never leave the Middle East area?

Lastly, there are two 777 bizjets: Saudi Oger 777-2AN(ER) VP-BRH & MidEast Jet 777-24Q(ER) N777AS. I have seen the Saudi Oger jet but does anybody know where MidEast Jet 777 is based?
Some info appreciated.

Hi Carpethead!

Yes, there are two configurations for the SV 777:

F30C31Y183 (code 777)

and

F12C26Y250 (code 772)

If you look at availabilty in CRS systems, you will see the different codes for the different aicraft. The "772" version doesn't fly much to Western Europe but does go to IST. It also made appearences at JFK/IAD this Jan/Feb during Hadj. Perhaps it will be back here at IAD this summer on certain days.

The Mid East Jet 777 is based at JED and I'm not sure where it usually flies to. I guess GVA is a safe bet ?

The777Man,
Thanks for the info.
Interesting that longer range version has almost equal number of first-class & business class seats.

Hi!

Let me just clarify the the range and technical specifications are the same for both configurations but yes, it is intersting that there are about the same number of seats in F and C.

MidEast Jet 777 is based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia full time. I had the privilege of touring the aircraft in DAL on saturday. What a awesome cabin!

The777Man, SV's website states that the B777 (with code 777) has either 305 or 328 seats. It doesn't have info regarding the other B777s (with code 772). Having said that I am not sure how reliable their website is.
