Satena Colombia will buy 2 Embraer ERJ 145’s in an attempt to modernise its fleet, was announced yesterday (April 20, 2005.) after the Casa C212 farewell ceremony with some canon salutes.
Satena sold to the Colombian Air Force ( FAC ), its two old ( and latest in current fleet) Casa C-212 planes. They have operated the Casa C-212 since 1984.
Back in 1997, Satena sold three of its Casa C-212 planes to U.S. firm Turbina Group Inc.

It is expected that they will close the purchase of a third Embraer by mid-year 2005.
So... wow by the end of 2005 they will have 4 and maybe 5 EJR-145’s.
