Air France some time ago said it will use the A380 on CDG-YUL.

For Lufthansa, I can imagine to following routes:
FRA-NRT
FRA-JFK
FRA-SIN
FRA-LAX
FRA-BOM
FRA-DEL
FRA-MEX
FRA-PEK
FRA-PVG
FRA-HKG
FRA-GRU

I guess that FRA-SFO is also on LH´s A380 priority list.

I think FRA-SFO is definitely on LH's priority list--you try to get a ticket on that flight now!  eek

My local LH sales rep did mention that one day they would like to put the 380 to ORD since they have a huge interchange with UA. The issue is that ORD doesn't have the ground handling facilities yet.

Is BOM and DEL ready for A380. I think LH will be using A380 for those two indian cities. I imagine the loads are quiet favourable to both BOM and DEL.

Not anytime soon mate! DEL and BOM can't handle the A346 yet, so you can forget the A380!
But with Indian airports set for MAJOR refurbishment, maybe it won't be that far away!

They certainly intend using it to LAX. I expect NYC would be on the list too. Probably HKG and NRT too.

recently VS inaugurated its maiden flight to BOM and it was quite an issue how they managed A346 over there.
But let me assure you that besides complete revamp of DEL and BOM, short term upgradation is also on the priority list as lots of airlines are expected to fly A380 over there. To name a few, SQ, EK, LH & AF.

I can't imagine the flying public would stand for an additional premium on their ticket just for the joy of getting to fly the 380... At least not for very long... Plus, isn't one of the 380's virtues the reduced seat/mile costs?

If anything, I would think the ticket prices SHOULD be lower.

When a relatively full 744 LH flight is getting ready to board, the seating areas are so small, that people are crowding the hall, and sitting in all the gates around them (LH's gates are in a round-a-bout).. I'd say ORD neads extensive imporvements inside, as well as on the ramp before the A380 can be used there.

Miami will almost definitley be seeing them in Lufthansa and Air France colours. Miami is the type of high density route these planes were made for, along with New York City, Los Angeles, and India.

JFK for both carriers. Someone mentioned it to EWR above. EWR is not A380 capable according to the airport's operator.

What about FRA-EWR ? EWR already is served with the 747-400 at some days.
Would be great, since my folks live in Bergen County NJ and if we fly visiting them we usually choose EWR over JFK.

CCS will see the A380 at least sporadically from both.
