A380 Media Coverage

Fri Apr 29, 2005 8:56 am

How was the A380 coverage in your area. Over here it didn't even make headline news.

Made the national news and the daily papers for the day, but not as a big news story. More a sort of "and finally. . ." piece.

Very extensive coverage on local French networks as well as international cable channels inluding:

CNN (European edition - nothing like the Domesticly absorbed US edition) large coverage
BBC World (very large coverage)
EuroNews (all day)

From the posts from US on this forum at the time, I had the impression it was well covered in the US also....

Not sure about the local media, I watched the build up and the take off live on Sky News.
After Monday and Tuesday even the calendar says WTF...

Coverage here in UK was good, watched it on the Airbus live feed though. Something that's been bugging me though (I know it's not aviation related), what was the music on that live feed? Anybody know?
