Virgin In Dublin

Sat Apr 30, 2005 5:15 am

I was in Dublin yesterday (Thursday) and as we were taxing to take off I noticed a Virgin A340 off to the side of the runway. What was it doing there? are Virgin normally at Dublin for any reason? It was not parked at a stand, nor was it preparing for takeoff. Had lights on inside though?

FYI I survived the ryanair 737-200 flight I was so terrified about last week!!!

FLS Aerospace (the company has a new name now I believe) does the maintenance for Virgin. AFAIK, Dublin is one of their major operations.

Yeah, VS send A340s to DUB regularly. The new name for FLS is SR Technics as FLS have become part of the SR Technics group. Matt
