In 2004 - And apparently it’s being investigated. Along with sexual harassment allegations.
TSA officials being probed
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security is investigating top Transportation Security Administration officials at Pittsburgh International Airport, including Director Robert Blose, on allegations that include fraud, intimidation and sexual harassment.
Craig Martelle, the TSA's assistant federal security director at Pittsburgh International, confirmed that he, Blose and Bill Rough, deputy assistant federal security director for screening, were the targets of the internal affairs investigation.
Rough and Martelle approved overtime pay for themselves for hours they did not work. Martelle said his salary in 2004 was $95,000. He would not say how much extra he was paid in overtime. Martelle said he worked more than 1,000 hours of overtime, and was not paid for all of the hours. Blose approved the overtime, Martelle said. Salaries for Blose and Rough were not immediately available.
