WW To Start MME-NQY & BHX-NQY

Sun May 01, 2005 1:52 am

See www.bmibaby.com

I'd like to know everyones' thoughts on these routes, particularly the MME-NQY service. If someone told me 5 years ago that a carrier would be operating from Durham Tees Valley to Newquay on a 148-seat 737-300, I'd have laughed at them!

Thoughts please....  Smile

I can't see Newquay NQY being a popular route, I don't see the point in having BHX-NQY services?

You would think WW are trying to put themselves out of business with these type of routes and stupid frequencies at MME. Why fly to PRG and BFS a couple of times a week when EZY, just up the road can offer much better prices and frequencies.
Why drive when you can fly?

I've just checked National Rail's website and the fastest rail journey I could find between Birmingham and Newquay is 5 hours and 50 minutes. Do you see the point now?
