Panam Lives Or Is It A Mirage?

Mon May 02, 2005 11:12 am

Is Panam the airline that wont die?

Spotted this plane which appears to be first time (for this aircraft) to be on the database so I am assuming it is a new addition of an old aircraft.

and then checked the database to find "Boston Maine Airways" associated with the "Panam". It had 33 other photos off a few 727s and Jetstreams in Panam colors

I am assuming they bought the name,right?.....

Anybody here flown them or have any more of their intentions?

Yeah this is either Pan Am 3 or 4.. they just own the rights to the name/logo, they aren't in any other way connected with Trippe's PA. They fly to places like Gary, IN and Orlando Sanford.... hardly the same luster as Honolulu, Madrid, or Paris.
