I have just been reading a UK rail industry magazine. In it - the UK Transport Minister says that railways should be like the airlines - who operate with three basic types of plane!
Now this may be me being naive but could anyone enlighten me on the "three basic types of plane" that he was referring to?
Here are some of my suggestions:-
1) Either two engines, three engines or four engines
2) Boeing, Airbus + everyone else
3) Big Planes, Small Planes and those in between
Am I being too technical by saying this but I can think of A300, A310, A340, B737, B757, B747, Fokker 100, CRJ 200, Bae146, Dash 8..........but to name a few
