"Airliner World" April Issue In US Bookstores

Fri Apr 14, 2000 8:45 am

I picked up the April issue of Airliner World at Border's this evening. it appears to be another good issue:

For the airport types (like me), there are articles on Washington-Dulles (with some excellent pictures including an overhead), Rio De Janiero Int'l (more great pics), and Southampton Airport in the UK. I wish Airways and Airliners would follow Airliner World's lead, and stick more overhead airport shots in their mags.

For the airline types, there are articles on Aegean Airlines, Air Inter, and Gulf Air.

For the airliner types (as all of us are), there are articles on the IL-76, and the Britannia.

Looks like a good read.

Tom, I finally bit the bullet and have subscribed to Airliner World. You will find you eventually have to have alll of the information sources having anything to do with airliners. I subscribe to Aviation Week & Space Technology, Flying, AOPA Pilot, Flight International, Airliner World, Air Transport World, World Airline Fleets, Airways, and Airliners. Sound like enough (and I'm probably missing a couple)?!!

I get Air Tranport World and Aviation Week through my job, and of course, Airliners and Airways at home. I guess I should pony up the 70 or 80-odd bucks and get Airliner World. It is kind of growing on me.
