Routes Conference - Sept In CPH

Tue May 10, 2005 2:44 pm

Has anyone on A-net attended this previously?
Is it worth attending, and as valuable as the glossy brochures make it out to be?

Would appreciate feedback from anyone that has attended in the past....

Depends on who you are?
Good for networking, esp if you are from one of those airports who are trying to attract new airlines (I guess who doesnt nowadays?).

The structure is one to one pre arranged meetings and not the conventional weighty discussion types.

I havent attended, but my organisation did attend the previous one at MAD and should I guess attend this time too.

I've attended twice in the past, and its an excellent conference - if you are from an airline or airport - a great way to meet dozens of carriers and airports in one sitting.
You are 100 times more likely to catch a cold on a flight than an average person!

Yep I've been too, and I'd say that from an airline or airport perspective you're never going to be able to meet so many relevent people at one time.

If you don't fall into these two categories, the benefits of attending may be negligable. Certinly don't think of it as a conference where you get to hear presentations, speeches and the like. Its purely about non-stop meetings.
Just when I thought I could see light at the end of the tunnel, it was some B*****d with a torch bringing me more work
