Do I Need To PAY The Food On European Flights?

Sat May 14, 2005 11:23 am

Hi,

Back in January, 2005, coming back from GRU to LHR, for my surprise I had to pay for my inflight food from MAD to LHR.
What a surprise!
No, flying to MAD (From LHR with IB) again in 2 weeks, will I need to pay for my food again?
If yes, I will choose BA next time, as they have a code share on that route.

Thanks

With exception of the low-fare airlines, IB, OS and LX only offer food for sale on selected European routes (LX will offer free food again soon).

In Y Class, IB is charging for food and drinks, including water, on all the flights up to 3 hours, including flights between mainland Spain and the Canary Islands.
