AA 767 IN VVI On MAY 13, 2005

Sat May 14, 2005 9:39 pm

Last evening I say an AA 767 in the overnight parking at VVI.

Normally AA takes 757's to VVI and does not have them standing overnight, instead, they arrive/leave in the early morning.

Does anybody have infos as to why the 767 was in VVI?

Maybe a diverted flight from Asuncion or something like that?

I dont remember the flight number, it was the MIA EZE flight on the 12th that diverted to VVI.
The TSA was created to make the post office look efficient!

ASU-MIA flights go via GRU so I doubt a diversion to VVI; The MIA-EZE on the 12th sounds more probable.

Any idea why? Technical problems or others?

We were flt 909 that left Miami on thursday the 12th, but due to mechanical problems had to diviate to VVI. We got there friday morning at around 6 am and left VVI saturday morning at 630 am.... Went on to Buenos Aires with the non revs and bags of all the passengers and then ferried the plane back to Miami where we landed on saturday at 2230.
