You are correct about them being A320s. Makes sense considering who Freedom Air's parent company is.

Monty Python's Flying Circus has nothing to do with aviation, except perhaps for Management personnel.

The 1st Freedom A320 ZK-OJK is sitting in Toulouse as we speak, and will be delivered at the start of June.

So what's happening to the 733s SJ are operating at the moment? Will they keep them or will they be returned to NZ? How long are the 733s going to stay in NZs fleet?

Cheers

The 4x SJ A320s are coming from NZs order of 15x A320s ZK-OJK - ZK-OJN are for SJ, leaving ZK-OJO the last A320 for NZ.

SJs B733s will leave the fleet as each A320 is delivered

At least for another 3-5 years. NZs B733s have excellent fuel consumption.

ZK-OJK will operate on NZ routes first then will be given to SJ and be based out of their home airport, HLZ

Not true Jase. OJK will be flying for SJ from day 1.

The A320 deliveries have been timed with the leases expiring on the 733 fleet. None will be returning to the NZ fleet, with the exception of NGA which rejoined a few weeks ago, still in the SJ white livery.

Also the fate of OJO is still undecided. Its looking more like it will go to SJ, but I will keep y'all posted.
