For The UK Members, Alteon Simulator Tour

Wed May 18, 2005 2:40 pm

Hey Gents

I am going on a business trip to the UK Alteon Training center on May 27 for about 30 days. As soon as I settled, I will be offering tours of the Alteon-UK Training Center.
Any interested people, send me an email

Which one of the three is it - Gatwick (I assume), Luton, or Manchester? In what capacity are you able to offer tours?

The London Gatwick Centre, I believe that they have the 737NG, 757/767, & the A320 simulators. Right now I know that I can take you through the training center & into the simulators. Until I get over there, not sure what else I can do, until I speak with the folks.

Is that the place where you (as non-pilots) can get joyrides at the weekends for a couple of hundred £££s? I thought it had been open a while now - same simulators. Perhaps it's been extended?

Do they have any simulators at LHR?

Was Alteon advertised in Airliner World?

Very tempting...I'll actually be in London the second week of June. If you were at STN instead of LGW it'd be a slam dunk (we're driving up to the EDI area after a couple of days in the City).
