Procedure For A380 - Commercial Flight

Thu May 19, 2005 5:15 pm

I assume that this topic must have been discussed in this forum, but I couldn't track it.

My question is that what will be the procedure which A380 has to under go in order to get approval for commercial flying. I probably heard that it has to complete 2,500 hours flying before certification. If this is so, these are too much hours if it has to be certified before end of 2006.

Thanks
