Alaska MD-80 Engine Change In San Diego Today

Fri May 27, 2005 6:00 am

Their is an Alaska MD-80 getting an engine change by San Diego tower.
Does anyone know what tail number it is. I can see it from the freeway.
Does anyone know if it had a compressor stall?
Thanks
Brian

I noticed that when I landed there about three hours ago. Pretty interesting to see them working on the engine.

It's N947AS that is having maintenance done in SAN.

Cool thanks for the tail number!
I was on 947as once from ANC-SEA.

I saw it yesterday and today. I have a flight tomorrow at 5:25pm to Sea on a md80. That would be cool if it was 947as.

Thanks
