Future Construction For PHX

Sat May 28, 2005 12:28 am

What's the future construction schedule for PHX? I was there last week in Terminal 3. It looks as though they are building one or more piers onto Terminal 4 (in addition to the new one just built). Is this right. What else do they have planned?

T4 has four concourses(N1-N4) on the northern(HP) half of the terminal, and room for four on the southern half(WN). The airport just finished the third (S2) of the four southern concourses this year. WN's concourses are smaller.

The ATC tower is scheduled to be finished by March of 2006.

What's going on is the city is rebuilding taxiway S (one of the crossover taxiways). For anyone flying in or meeting someone in PHX, plan for some delays. T4 is built out on the northside.
