Apparently crashed on landing, two onboard, one injured, reported engine problems before landing.

It was not a jet, it was a Swearingen SA-226T, a dual engine turboprop. Reg N-22DW, similar to the aircraft below.

It is a very nice day here in the NY Metro area. I live near Teterboro Airport, and doubt it was due to wind. I hope nobody killed or seriously injured. Somebody goofed though and probably bring out more of the NIMBY's out of their homes in the area to bash the airport.
By the way, after the crash Feb. 1st, there are now plans to strengthen the fencing and to put in some kind of crash barrier at the north end of the main runway to prevent the kind of accident that happened then.

Well he was kind of on the right track, both types to jet engines on them, just one has a major final rpm derating and props in front of the engines.
Good Luck to all Skyway Pilots! It's been great working with you!

I can hear the NIMBY's again.  yell
Direct KNOBS, maintain 2700' until established on the localizer, cleared ILS runway 26 left approach.

I'll provide as much information as I can...

Merlin as listed above crashed (crash landed) short of runway 1, one person on board, airport was closed for a few hours before reopening. Runway 1-19 to be closed for at least two days. Pilot reported engine problems on a right base before making the field.
