FLL Spotter Alert!

Mon Jun 06, 2005 11:30 am

Just to let everybody know Air Force one will be at FLL tomorrow and Condolezza Rice's Air Force 757 is parked over where Focus Air was for a while.

Focus Air is now right over by 9L along with a C-17, from where I don't know I didn't have a chance to get close enough to look. I don't know if the viewing area will be open but it might be worth a shot, also does anybody know what time Air Force One will arrive?

They've got the barricades blocking the entire access road. You can't even get into the animal shelter; it's blocked from Perimiter Road. I did see the C-17 arrive today, around appx. 1:00-1:30.

I saw the same thing around 8:00 p.m. but was not sure if that was the standard procedure for the night, since I think the viewing area closes at dusk.

Did the 757 arrive at the same time as the C-17?

I didn't see it arrive, however I didn't stick around for long since the viewing area was closed.
