My question is, what's the point of keeping the "terminal link" buses in operation if the Skylink is in operation?
Say I'm flying American to Los Angeles and my flight departs Terminal A. I park at Terminal A, but my return flight comes into Terminal C, which means my bags come out there too. SkyLink is back inside security, so how are my bags and I supposed to get back to my car at Terminal A?
Quoting Thecamel67 (Reply 8):
Just do what I do. Ride the Skylink and get your car first. There are usually plenty of one hour spots right outside of your baggage claim area.

Just one issue with the tram stations, no flight display monitors.

I was in DFW last week and although I was dissapointed I did not have a chance to ride the skylink the new terminal areas look really nice and modern compared to the rest of the facility... Especially the new flat screens that I imagine will eventually show flight arrival/departure info? The old monitors were very hard to read for me.

Quoting Ssides (Reply 11):
The issue may be due to the fact that (to my knowledge) there is no centralized flight monitor system at DFW. Each airline maintains its own monitors. SkyLink is operated by DFW, not AA, so that may explain it. Still, it's definitely something DFW should work on.

but there are those pesky DFW O&D passengers to think about too
Quoting Commavia (Reply 12):
All D/FW needs to do now is raise the ceiling in the terminals a little and add skylights overhead and DFW's terminals will be great.
Quoting AAtakeMeAway (Reply 17):
There must be some sort of centralized flight monitor system, as when I used to park in Remote South, the monitors there included all flights/airlines.
