I might be wrong as I haven't checked it, but by memory KSSU stands for KLM SWISSAIR and UTA whereas ATLAS was Air France, Lufthansa, Alitalia?? Sabena.
Anyway, it is not new but the re invention of a good idea. There is no worries anyway when this is crossing Alliances, this is simply a good reason to save money on technical expenses. The marketing departments are a much differnet part of the company and even there, it happens that JAL Cargo cooperates with LH
Cargo whereas on the passenger side they are in different groups.
