Is Photography Allowed In Chinese Airports

Tue Jun 14, 2005 3:20 am

Would one get into trouble by taking photos in Beijing and Shanghai airport? If not, does anyone know if there is an observation area in those airports to view the planes?

Hi !
I got no problem taking pictures at PVG. Of course, there are reminders that it's strictly forbidden to take any pictures in the customs area. But elsewhere in the airport it doesn't seem to be forbidden. AFAIK, there's no observation deck at PVG.

A camera pass??, I dont think they give out Camera such a thing.

Anyway, a simple check of the database should have answered your question without the need for this post. Your going to have more problems in America or England than you are in China.
