AI 772 IFE

Tue Jun 14, 2005 4:25 am

Hey,
Are the Air India 777-200's fitted with PTVs or main screen IFE? Thinking about flying ex BHX with them.

Kind Regards

The only thing I notice about the AI cabins is that the PTVs don't have that re-angling hinge... must get a bit annoying when the person in front reclines...

That would be cool.

BTW, the PTVs on the AI 777s are continuous loop and small. No AVOD. Still, beats a main screen neck crane

No - unfortunately not Sad Though the systems should be in place, I think the crew decides on whether to switch it on or not. In this case (AI), they probably don't even know the option exists!
