AI 772 IFE

Hey,
Are the Air India 777-200's fitted with PTVs or main screen IFE? Thinking about flying ex BHX with them.

Yep the 772's are fitted with PTV's, they are still fitted with the ex. UA cabins!

The only thing I notice about the AI cabins is that the PTVs don't have that re-angling hinge... must get a bit annoying when the person in front reclines...

BTW, the PTVs on the AI 777s are continuous loop and small. No AVOD. Still, beats a main screen neck crane

No - unfortunately not Sad Though the systems should be in place, I think the crew decides on whether to switch it on or not. In this case (AI), they probably don't even know the option exists!

im thinking about flying with them to canada. ive flown on the 777 with ek before so its not a new aircraft for me, but would be nice to try a new airline.
