New MUC - Ostrava (OSR) LH Service

Fri Jun 17, 2005 6:38 pm

Less than a month ago LH has started a twice daily service to Ostrava (OSR), Czech Republic. This city is in the eastern part of the country. These flights are operated by Cirrus Airlines.

I would like to know if anybody here knows how are these flights doing, are they getting a good loads/yields and so on?

Has anybody tried them?

They fly the Dornier 328, I guess LH is not expecting too many passengers on this route but sufficient numbers to grant for a 2x daily flight.

This is not a LH service.
Cirrus Airlines operates this flight on its own risk. It is not part of LH Regional, which basically charters regional planes and uses them for LH flights with LH carrying the operational risk.

However, LH has a code-share agreement with Cirrus Airlines.

Quoting LHSTR (Reply 2):

And they do the handling for C9 in their terminal, T2.
