AirTran Ending TPA-PHF

Wed Jun 22, 2005 4:38 am

Looks like airTran is abruptly pulling the plug on their daily Tampa-Newport News service. It is suspended effective Thursday. This is too bad. Anybody know what happened? It was definitley bookable past Thursday as of three days ago.

No competition from WN, they don't serve TPA-ORF

Southwest doesn't fly TPA-ORF non-stop, but it is served as a one-stop with no change of plane via JAX.
