Monarch Fleet - Few Questions...

Wed Jun 22, 2005 6:44 am

Couple of short Questions about the fleet this summer...

Is the 767-300 they are operating - is this a permanent edition to the fleet or just leased for the summer?

If this is permanent why did they choose this over another Airbus as this is a bit of an "odd ball" for the airline considering the rest of their wide body fleet is A300's and A330's?

Can we expect to see Monarch operating any of their A300's out of Luton this summer? As they have based one here on certain days during the peak summer season over the last few years. This certainly makes a change from the usual at Luton and would be great to see it back!

While were on the subject of Luton...  Wink
What is the Monarch's charter program like for this summer out of Luton?

Is there any more widebody orders expected for Monarch? As their wide body fleet seems in big demand this summer flying the A330's on short haul flights in Europe when they have previously only been reserved for the Long Haul market. Is the 763 operating in Europe or only Long Haul?

Are MON looking at the 787 or A350, I think MON could be intrested in the A350!

When will MON paint their A330's into the new sceme?
