BA LGW-KIN Flt Diverts To BDA 24JUN

BA2263 from LGW to KIN paid an unexpected visit to BDA yesterday. The 777 (G-VIIR) stopped at BDA to offload an elderly, ill passenger.

The aircraft then continued on to KIN.

Oh..and this is the 2nd time in as many months that the BA LGW-KIN flight diverted to BDA...the first time was also a medical issue. In that instance the passenger felt better before the aircraft resumed its journey to KIN and demanded to be allowed to reboard the aircraft. That request was denied.
