1970's Qantas / Air NZ Qurey

Mon Apr 24, 2000 6:29 am

Quick question...

Back in '77 I flew AKL to BNE return on Qantas and Air New Zealand. I'm sure my memory was of a fairly narrow body aircraft both ways. What say the historians? Were they DC-8 and 707 aircraft?

Hopefully they were - that way I don't have to spend big $$$ to get to Pakistan to fly on a 707.

Zknzc,

Air New Zealand were operating DC 8's and QANTAS were operating 707's in the 70's, so if you flew narrowbody planes - that's what you flew. Widebody Air NZ flew DC10's and QANTAS 747's.
