Is Karthago Flying A300?

Mon Jun 27, 2005 5:16 am

I was on approach for Tunis (DTTA) today at 14:40utc. We have been number two behind a Karthago flight. Once on ground I could realize that this plane was a Fly Air A300 with slightly neutralized colors and no titles on. I was to far to spot the registration.
Was this an exception or is Karthago using them on frequent base? Up to now I only saw Karthago's relatively new 737's

I saw the bird yesterday and the Sunday before. It is an A300-B4 and it is in FlyAir livery but with no titles. I only see them on Sunday !!! Maybe they have other flights out of DJE and MIR ?

Karthago Airlines added two (2) B733s to its fleet, an ex-UA as TS-IEJ and an ex-DeutscheBA as TS-IEG. I don't know if there will be Hotel and India aircrafts ? I have to say that this airline is owned and supported by the most influecings in Tunisia so it could expand as much as it wants without any restrictions  Wink
