the country of Carinthia takes a stack of 40% in Styrian Spirit.

the financial Problems are solved for now and the "new" Airline "Carinthian Spirit" will start addional Services from Klagenfurt via Salzburg to Paris and Zurich. A second Aircraft will be based in Klagenfurt by next year and Services to Amsterdam are in talks.

Apparently it will be configured in a spacious 74-seat layout. How many inches does that give you to stretch your tired feet? 30?

The aircraft is powered by the -900s CF34-8C5 although derated somewhat, giving it a "B1" at the end. Cool, that should give the new baby more climbing power. (Source: BBD.com)

I wish more Euro airlines could order the -701, she's a real cutie. Thumbs up for Styrian, hope I get to fly with you soon.

I need to correct myself. After looking at the picture of the Styrian aircraft, it is clear that the cabin has one extra window at the rear, allowing industry standard 31" pitch seating for all 74 seats. Now I like the aircraft even more  Smile
