With all the airline bashing that seems "fashionable" nowadays how about some stories where they did something good ?
I fly to Rio de Janeiro 4 times a year and last time Canadian Airlines had mechanical trouble on the tarmac which caused my entire itinerary to be out of wack "big time".
Even though I had an "045" class non-refundable ticket from LanChile (it was a "Millenium" purchase) which they where not obligated to exchange....they re-routed me at THEIR EXPENSE to Rio and I arrived one hour sooner that had I actually caught all of my original flights.
All thru this experience the staff where amazing and incredibly the opposite of what you read on other websites that bash airlines.
By the way....I never said how many times I fly...etc....I just let them do what they thought was best without asking for special treatment.
This year I'll do about 70,000 miles and I can assure you it'll all be on Canadian Airlines International.
