Iberia...A340-300 (or 600?).
Air Madrid...A330-200.

I flew once to PTY on a KLM DC-10-30 (PH-DTD) in 1991, but I think KLM cancelled that route many years ago.

Do Iberia and KLM fly to PTY? What do UPS and Fedex use to PTY?

Don't forget us! We regularly use PTY as a tech stop on the Quito- Miami route (Gemini DC-10). I think Arrow has one in there occasionally as well.
Airplanes are cool. Aviation sucks.

Just now I searched for flights for September and they show a 346. Any info if indeed it will be upgraded to a 600?

Doesnt Air Transat show up with an occasional A330 in the summer months? or is it an A310?

For cargo I have seen in the past Polar 747's also LAN 767's

For Pax from years ago also I remember Lauda charters using 767's, and long long ago Pan Am used once the 747 to LAX??? (please correct me if wrong, because this was like 25 years ago) , EVA also used the 747 LAX- PTY but stopped years ago, also IB on the 80’s served PTY with the 747.

KLM no longer flies to PTY.

Now to the present:

For now is true PTY is 737 Hell or Heaven depending on your taste, but I am afraid that we could win the most boring airport award. It probably wont get any better since CM opted for the 737’s MiniMe the E190 …. I know, I know the E190 is a good-looking plane, but at least to me they will look alike.

From what I can remember:

CM 737
CO 737
DL 737
WS – 737
AA – 757 now, ( almost sure that part of last year’s was operated with 737s)

Check again mister.

IB has operated the -600 on many occasions to its Central American destinations, and will do so to PTY, as said above, this year, effective on August 29 throughout October 29.

It's just a two month upgrade. The PTY flight on Oct31 will be operated once again by A343 aircraft.

Hey,

Yeah Air Transat does operate into PTY in the winter months with their Airbus A330-200 and the -300 as well from YYZ and YUL. In the summer, Air Transat and their tour operator world of vacations uses Westjet's 737-700 for the flights.
