NYC Area Diversions (7/9)

Sun Jul 10, 2005 1:36 pm

The line of storms that crossed the NYC area today in the late afternoon/early evening seems to have caused numerous diversions. ABE got several Co-Ex ERJ's bound for EWR, and Comair heading to JFK as well. I never thought about it when they were coming in to grab a camera until it was too late... just sitting and eating my dinner when I heard a few more jets coming over than usual and checked Flytecomm.

Did anyone else's airports get diversions today? I know this is no big deal, but just found it interesting to get more metal in here than usual today. Anyone with more info or interesting stories would be appreciated.  Smile

ACY got 3 Jetblue aircrafts and 2 Comair... I don't know where they were from unfortunately (I believe 1 Comair was JAX-JFK). Was having my own problems at the time

Man... too bad CO didn't send 1 of those widebodies here to ABE instead of SWF... that would have been sweet here in the land of RJ's and DC9's.
