Which route are you flying? BOS is scheduled to have A330 service, but sometimes an A340 stops by. Also, routes like JFK only get the A340 certain days of the week. BTW, the A340 interiors look to be AMAZING, with huge LCDs for econ passengers. I'm scheduled to fly LX A340 this August ZRH-CAI.

From what I have heard, there are no short term plans to refit the A332s with the new Economy seats. The Business Class seats should be replaced soon, but again, I have not heard a date. I have to believe that the LH/LX integration will take place before any move is made on the fleet.

Was scheduled for last year i think But probably still could take a time. F-Class seat are nearly the same, and those are the expensive ones, so why replace them already.
C and Y-Class would be a great step into the future though
Four of the A332s (HB-IQA/J/K/O) don't have First so it would make sense if they were the first ones to get the improved C-Class seats. And, AeroAussie, you'll be on one of those four if you go to MIA. (Not sure about ORD.)

You are right. The old 332 business is not as far as good as the new 343 where they have "lie flat seats".
Thanks for all the input! Too bad that I won't be flying in the new econ. Howver, on my way over I'm flying LAX-ZRH, and that's guaranteed to be an A340! So at least I'll get the good seats going over!
