New JAL "Family Jet" - Pic

Here's the first pic of JAL's new "Family Jet" The livery has been applied to JA771J, a Domestic 777-200!

I must be an idiot...how is it a family jet? Besides, it looks like anime to me...BORING. Nice try, it's different, but doesn't do anything for me personally. Oh well, good times!!!

Yep, these cartoon is a big ordeal in Japan now. Just like the Pokemon that was very popular few years back.

I think it's alright and I'm not too thrilled with this schemes. Kids might love it though........

It has all to do with a summer sales campaign to encourage families to fly. This campaign teams JAL up with Sega and Bandai to offer ammenities to families with young children, hence the name, "Kazoku no Natsuyasumi," for the campaign. Kazoku (family) + natsuyasumi (summer vacation) = family's summer vacation. The decal on the aircraft shows charaters from the Sega game Kabutomushi Ooja Mus King.
