Tivat - Montenegro Summer Report

Mon Jul 18, 2005 2:49 am

Dear friends, I'm back from a small holiday to Tivat (my native town), and I was so surprised to see MY airport working so well. It has been a lot since the last time regular wide bodied aircraft operated scheduled service, it has been a lot all 6 parking places were busy, it has been a lot since the war and the embargo, but now. Now a bunch of $$$ has been dedcated to the renewall and in very near future it is going to be an expansion of the current building and some light/runway works. Anyway, in this seven days I saw:

Il86 di Sibir e Kras Air

Cao Crna Gora.
I will be in Serbia-Montenegro next week for a 2month stay. I will be going down to Kotor and i wonder if you know how much a flight is between BG and Tivat? Is it possible to go into the JAT or Montenegro airlines office a few days before and book...would it cost more? any comments would really help.

Beg-TIv is a 45' flight and NO it will not cost more if you book few days before, but remember that is high season there and all flights are basically fully booked.

As for the suggestion you can contact me on my mail and I will tell you what to see.

I was at the Montenegro Airlines office a week ago and they said Tivat was going out booked solid, Air Maxi also plans on having Tivat as one of it's first destinations.

Hey I'm here in Belgrade, let's see. YM "Y" fare (still somewhat restircited) I believe is 98 euros rT
Montenegro, doesn't YM/JU have a 69 euro round-trip fare that only works if you buy in advance (due to demand?)
In addition, you might be able to try Air Maxi if they meet their late July deadline.
What now?

You always have the BEG-TGD option and then go down to Kotor either by car or bus (great drive by the way!)
