Olympic Subcharters

Mon Jul 18, 2005 6:25 pm

Hello there,

from what I read recently, there are quite a number of subchartered planes currently flying on behalf of Olympic such as Hellas Jet A320 and some Tristar as well. Anybody here knows if they fly on particular routes ?'

Thanks for your info !

Flew LHR ATH LHR last week with OA on Air Finland and Blue Panorama.

Its a disaster - Dont go there. Air Finland was apalling. Blue Panorama was fine, but the OA handling of their flights was really bad. basically they used an A300 seatmap on the 767, so anyone with adavanve seat assignments for an F seat (Aisle F) had no seat! A complete disaster.

Also - the L1011 was impounded by the French CAA due to being unairworthy.

Steer clear of Olympic.
You are 100 times more likely to catch a cold on a flight than an average person!

Amen to that. I'm going all the way via DOH to avoid OA  Silly

Can't avoid them on the domestic routes unfortunately , but their service domestically isn't bad.

Why is this even necessary when they have 2 A343's parked?
