Why is the Captain smiling is what I want to know. It could have been a massive fatality!

Easy to take things out of context isn't it?

The legendary B747Skipper? (I believe he was with Aerolineas)

Well, with a lot of imagination, I find him similar to a B747 pilot who lived in front of my grandparents home.

I still remember the excitement (in the 1970's) when he flew the first B747 (for Aerolineas Argentinas) to EZE; an ex Argentine Navy pilot, everyone was very proud of him.

I don't know whether he continued flying until the 1990's. His name, Jorge Grosso.
